A flat with one bathroom rarely needs the same boiler as a five-bedroom house with a loft conversion — sizing and boiler type both depend on genuine heat-loss and hot-water-demand factors, not a rule of thumb applied at the door.

Every installation is carried out by fully Gas Safe registered engineers, includes the manufacturer's Benchmark commissioning checklist, and comes with the paperwork needed for Building Regulations notification and your boiler's warranty. Nothing is quoted until the survey is done, and nothing changes on installation day that wasn't already agreed.

How much does a new boiler installation cost in London?

It depends on the boiler type, output and how much of your existing pipework and controls need updating, so we don't quote a figure without seeing the property. The free survey is where you get a fixed, written number — with no obligation to proceed.

How long does a new boiler installation take?

A straightforward combi-to-combi swap in a similar location often completes in a day. Moving the boiler, converting from a regular or system boiler, or upgrading pipework and controls at the same time usually needs one to two days — your quote will state the expected timescale.

Do I need to be in the property while the work happens?

You'll need to be present at the start and end of each day, but you don't need to watch over the whole job. We'll confirm access and hot water/heating downtime with you before the day.

Is the engineer definitely Gas Safe registered?

Yes — every installation is carried out by a fully Gas Safe registered engineer, which is a legal requirement for any work on a gas boiler in the UK. You can check any engineer's registration on the Gas Safe Register before work starts.
