Pricing
Every installation is quoted after a free survey
A new boiler is a big-ticket, once-a-decade purchase — not something to quote over the phone. We don't publish a single headline price, because boiler type, output and pipework genuinely change the cost. Instead: a free in-home survey, then a fixed price in writing, with no obligation to proceed.
New Boiler Installation
- Free in-home survey first
- Combi, system or regular — recommended on merit
- Fixed price agreed in writing before work starts
- Old boiler removed and disposed of
The most requested job — typically one to two days on site depending on scope.
Combi Boiler Replacement
- Sized to your radiators and bathrooms
- Straight swap or full conversion
- Mains flow rate checked first
- Fixed price agreed in writing
London's most common replacement job.
System Boiler Replacement
- Existing cylinder checked before quoting
- Suited to two or more bathrooms
- Cylinder replacement quoted if needed
- Fixed price agreed in writing
For homes with simultaneous hot water demand.
Old Boiler Removal & Disposal
- Included free with any new installation
- Available as a standalone job
- Safely isolated by a Gas Safe registered engineer
- Disposed of responsibly
Quoted on scope when booked on its own.
Central Heating System Upgrade
- Smart controls and room-by-room TRVs
- Power flushing where the survey shows it helps
- Priced individually, not as a bundle
- Can combine with a new boiler install
Only what actually helps your system — not a sales list.
Every job follows the same process: free survey, fixed quote in writing, Gas Safe registered installation. Nothing is billed that wasn't agreed before work started.
Four pricing principles
Free survey, always first
An engineer sees the property before anything is recommended or quoted. There is no charge for this, and no obligation to proceed.
Fixed quote, in writing
The price agreed after the survey is the price you pay. No day-of surprises, no invented extras once work has started.
No headline price, on purpose
Boiler type, output, flue routing and pipework changes genuinely change the cost — a single advertised figure would be misleading, so we don't publish one.
Every recommendation explained
You'll know why a boiler type, output or upgrade is being suggested — not just what it costs.
Separate from installation pricing
Call-out & diagnostic visit rates
These cover smaller visits — a breakdown diagnostic ahead of deciding on replacement, or a standalone removal — not a full installation, which is always quoted after a free survey (above).
| Visit type | 8AM – 6PMStandard hours | 6PM – 9PMEvenings | Weekend / next-dayWeekend & priority slots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Site Survey & Quote | POA | POA | POA |
| Pre-Replacement Diagnostic Visit | POA | POA | POA |
| Old Boiler Removal & Disposal (standalone) | POA | POA | POA |
| Power Flush (add-on to install) | POA | POA | POA |
| First Annual Service (post-install) | POA | POA | POA |
“POA” means the rate for that visit type hasn’t been published yet — ask when you get in touch.
Pricing questions
Why don't you publish a starting price for a new boiler?
Because it would be misleading. Boiler type, output, flue routing and how much of your existing pipework needs updating all genuinely change the cost — a single headline figure hides more than it tells you. The free survey gives you a real, fixed number for your property.
Is the survey actually free?
Yes — there is no charge for the in-home survey and no obligation to proceed with the quote that follows.
What happens if I decline the quote?
Nothing — there's no pressure and no cost to you either way. The survey and quote are genuinely no-obligation.
Are there any hidden extras on the day?
No. The fixed quote covers the scope agreed after the survey. If something genuinely unexpected is found once work starts (rare, but possible in older properties), it's discussed and agreed with you before any extra work proceeds — never billed afterward as a surprise.
Do you offer finance or payment plans?
This depends on current arrangements — ask when you book your survey and we'll confirm what's available.
What does the call-out / diagnostic visit pricing below cover?
That matrix covers smaller, time-sensitive visits — like a diagnostic call-out for a breakdown before deciding on replacement — not the installation itself, which is always quoted after a free survey.
Can I get a rough idea of cost before booking a survey?
Use our boiler sizing guide for a general sense of output and boiler type — but the only reliable price for your property comes from the free survey.
